Marvel Lego Superheroes X-Men Preliminary sketch! I saw the awesome Lego Marvel Covers and I just couldn't wait for the official Lego version of this cover and characters, so I made my own! I worked hard to be true to the Lego group's design aesthetic, and I looked for reference for pieces that already exist, like Colossus' and Nightcrawler's hair ( yes, its Superman's hair!) I tried to come up with designs for Wolvie's mask and Cyclops visor, they both work like Lego beard pieces turned upside-down. It was great fun working on this!
